Planning Government-related Events
Government officials come to campus for a variety of reasons including building openings, award ceremonies, funding announcements or open houses.
Regardless of the type of event, if you are thinking of inviting government to UBC or are wondering if government should be involved, please contact our office to let us know about the event.
We can provide advice as to which government officials should be invited, up-to-date contact information and appropriate forms of address.
Please note that the Office of Government Relations is responsible for extending any invites from the university to the Ministry of Advanced Education or the premier.
